Proverbs Chapter 30

Just What I Need/ Never Enough
Tena Jamison

Nowhere near smart enough, and no wisdom. You do not learn Wisdom, Wisdom is a gift from God.30:2-3. Who do you know that went to Heaven and came back?
Wow, past human understanding. Can we bag up some wind and let it escape when needed, can we suction up the sea and take it from one spot to another? No, but I know Someone that can. Surely you know His name. 30:4.

Verse 30:6, God’s Words are not to be changed, you liar, so don’t try to. The Word of God is Truth.

Verse 30:9, Lord, but please don’t leave me in want, want might cause me to stoop below myself and cause shame, doing things to harm others. Lord knows, we are in need.  Be careful of your wants oppose to your needs. Our needs are just enough, but our wants may cause us to be greedy and try to take credit, with our big head.

Don’t walk around thinking you are so perfect above all, and not taking the time to smell your own sin you’re leaving behind. Don’t be stuck up you snobs. To be able to sympathize with the poor, we need to have walked in their shoes. No one can make themselves sinless.

Be careful and watch out for those twins named, Give me and Give me more, because I never get enough. Be careful you ignorant one, going around disrespecting others, The day will come when you’re looking for respect and not get it.

Amazing things, we don’t even think twice about, the eagles flying so high (God), Serpent crawling around (Satan) ships sailing the ocean and people falling in love (Bride/church).

Stop letting your heart be hardened that you don’t even feel your guilt or shame. Words can destroy you if they are not used in the right way. Cover your big mouth and stop scheming and talking trash.

If you’re bragging and planning evil, stop it, right now! Staying angry only gets you in trouble. Anger pressed beyond the limits produces conflict.
Just what I need!!! Be satisfied with what we have, and if for some reason God elevates us with some of our wants, lets not look down on those that are where we once were. God knows your needs and He also gives us some of our wants.Let's be patient in, or until our season.
